Description
Bred in Bendigo, Venus bears sweet, petite, golden pods in pairs on tall plants. The plants are semi-leafless (hypertendril), have a more open growth form which promotes greater air flow, and the masses of tendrils makes them attach firmly to the trellis. The tender tendrils can also be picked young and added to salads and stir fries. Venus was derived from disease resistant field peas crossed with our own golden snow pea Joni’s Taxi.
