Lettuce – Freckles selection

Description

There is some debate about whether this upright, light green, red splashed, cos-style lettuce is the same as Flashy Troutback (Forellenschuss in the original Austrian).  None the less, it’s a great, easy to grow colourful lettuce that in my garden develops multiple heads on some plants.  This lettuce is a favourite in our salad bowl.
