Snow Pea Purple – Jupiter

Description

Jupiter Snow Pea is a deep purple, true low-fibre snow pea, bred in Bendigo. It has medium sized pods, held high on robust 1 -1.5 metre plants with considerable disease resistance to powdery mildew. Needs trellising.

Pods are borne in pairs, and are sweet, low in fibre, with strings along the pod seams like normal snow peas. The colour fades on cooking in water.

Best uses: raw in salads, flash frying.
