Snowpea Yellow – Joni’s Taxi

Description

Joni’s Taxi is big and yellow: a tall, large-podded yellow snowpea developed in Bendigo, Australia. The purple flowers are followed by lemon-yellow pods that are long and wide with a great taste, borne singly on long pedicels that hold them out from the stem enabling easy harvest. The vigorous plants grow to 2 metres, and require trellising. Not resistant to powdery mildew.

This is a valuable addition to the vegetable garden, blending great eating with striking appearance.
